Q: Do I have to have a great transformation to become a Beachbody coach?

Q: What if I’m not very knowledgeable about fitness?


A: This is not a problem!  There are plenty of tools in the coach online office that will help you out.  We also have an amazing team of coaches in the Bombshell Dynasty that will help teach you everything you need to know to become a great coach.

It has been a while since I have felt like updating my blog.  Let's just say that these last three months have been quite crazy.  From the kids starting school, the entire household getting some kind of nasty virus, to pneumonia and everything in between - well, let's just say that LIFE happened.

Throughout all of this my health seemed to take a turn, and not in a good way.  Yes, I was fighting the virus, which is what my body was supposed to do, but I felt off - you know the feeling, when you just don't feel right, like something is going on but you don't know why.

Better Than Ice Cream Sweet Potato Smoothie

Sweet potatoes provide a satisfying sweetness but won’t spike your blood sugar like other types of potatoes.
They’re also packed with nutrients, including vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, iron, magnesium, and calcium. I like to use sweet potatoes to make a healthy alternative to an ice cream shake.
This version is satisfying, delicious, and provides an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory boost.  Not to mention suitable for the 21 Day Fix (1 1/2 yellow, 1 1/2 purple)

Ingredients
I suggest using organic whenever possible
  • ½ cup sweet potato, cooked and mashed (no skin)
  • ½ large banana or 1 small banana (Try freezing your bananas in small chunks before adding to smoothies. It’s not necessary, but results in an icy cold, thick smoothie.)
  • 1 madjool date, pitted
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup purified water
  • 2-3 ice cubes
  • Dash of cinnamon
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and dust with additional cinnamon, if desired.
Enjoy!

Kid Friendly Chicken Nuggets

Forget those frozen, unhealthy, processed chicken nuggets.  Make them yourself - but in a healthy way. I typically double this recipe so that one batch can be frozen for a quick snack or fast meal.

Time to Rethink Your Way of Eating



Portion control.....you either have it or you don't.  It isn't an issue of eating too much junk food or drinking soda, your portions can be way out of control even when you are eating healthy.
